Thought provoking........

A cold mist hung about most of the day, occasionaly clearing to give a view of the suntouched paddocks.
Dropping Stella to school is a real pleasure, we marvel at the beauty of the Autumn trees as we meander down through the forest, driving past a family of cows, and over the bridge with the gentle trickle of the water....walking Stella up the flight of winding stairs to her classroom, greeted by her teacher, with laughter in his eyes, and settling her at her wooden desk, the lovely sound of many children speaking french was beautiful for the ears........home to a freshly brewed coffee and a thought on what to do for the day?
Sam and Ruben spent the day sorting out materials, building scructures, using power tools and singing John Williamson songs.......Ruben is often seen with his ear muffs on or climbing ladders to fix the roof! and loves to follow his Dad around.
A beautiful lunch was had at a friends house, and a hot tea and warm chocolate cake eased us into some thought provoking discussions.....and as I was driving home, life felt a bit more easier....stimulating conversation is good for the soul.
The chickens followed me up the hill to Sams garden and had a great time scratching about....not much left in the garden, mainly beetroots and silverbeet.....but we are eating lots of delicious apples and pears from the local markets...and drinking the many litres of apple juice we have!!! Is that over indulging in apples???
