Dropped Sam and the children to some friends for the morning, Sam was helping build a shed and I needed some quiet time to drive in a car by myself, and go food shopping by myself..its only the simple things, but a few hours to myself was wonderful. The drive to the nearest Supermarket is 30 min, but this time of year the fields are covered with yellow sunflowers, and corn..apparently the corn is used for the chickens in winter, they store them in big cages 3 metre high..the French don't each much corn!
We shared a dinner with some friends, Vegetable lasagna with Fresh green salad, and ice cream and fruit for dessert, and one last dip in the pool for hot, tired children at 9.00, and here I am, will leave the dishes till the morning.........
