We went to have a look at an outdoor table that Sam had made for a lovely retired English couple, they were very pleased, and we had some cold freshly pressed apple juice whilst sitting under the old pomengranate tree....the children went exploring and found a row of hay bales so climbed on top and jumped from one to another amidst laughter and "watch me".....The lady of the house is a talented painter, and still teaches on a casual basis, but the children love to be near her, as she takes them to find old bird nests, or pick rasberries, do puzzles, or make them drinks and snacks...it was a lovely afternoon, and to top it off we saw a tractor picking up hay bales and loading them onto a big trailor, so of course we had to stop and watch, with a paddock full of cows mooing next to us, excited about the hay bales as well.
