A big sigh and a feeling of contentment, watching my mum reading to the children, walking with my Dad to visit the gardens, bike riding down the lonely lanes, sharing delicious meals from the garden....So lovely to have my parents here, and to share our life with them for a short time....
It warms a grandparents heart when a grandchild walks into the room and their face lights up when they see you. My seven year old granddaughter called me the other night and said it felt like weeks since she saw me last (2 actually) and she talked non-stop for an hour. Loved it.I know your parents are enjoying the time with your children.
