Joyfully still wearing uggboots and reading by a cosy fire...

The days have been overcast and cold since the big thunderstorm, it seams earth is recovering slowly, with short sun periods and icy winds. The tomoto plants are standing strong. Sams patch has turned into a natural masterpiece compared to my basic garden, we definately have to see who can grow the biggest pumpkin and the tallest sunflower!
Went for a lovely family drive to visit friends half an hour away, the brightness of the colour green, was breathtaking, mist in the valleys, tractors ploughing the field;we always see at least 4 tractors doing something on there farms.
Sam came back from the local bricolage with some sand for our sandpit, and it was dark grey? Apparently its come from an alpine lake..interesting. The children made the most of the sunlight and new sandpit, and suprisingly enough didnt get stained black!
