A morning ride......

Out the gate and just up the hill, we stopped to see the beautiful Pyrenees. At certain times when the days are clear they look majestic, and take your breath away. Our house is at 400 metres, and the average height for these mountains is 2000 metres!
Stella is at Maternelle, at the local Ecole, for the morning, and Sam is pruning a big tree for a friend. So Ruben and I enjoying a quiet ride down the lanes, stopping under a shady tree for anzacs and bananas, and a drink, picking beautiful wildflowers.....buttercups will last in a vase for 2-3 weeks! The days are warming up, with temp in the high 20's for the next few days.
Unfortunately we lost two chickens to a fox.....the brown one, Buffy is the only one left...as ruben said "Buffy is so good at hiding dad, he had the best hiding place".....Stella and Sam closed them in at night, but forgot to check that the actual chickens were in there roost, they werent, they were still out scratching about, and unfortunately had to be outdoors in the dark, when the sly old fox turned up....and had a feast!!
